Not everyone wants to be climbing on a roof in the middle of a storm or walking through the bush looking for a lost person, but the opportunty to support these activities are endless.  Regional Operations volunteers work from a purpose built operations centre and help FESA SES manage emergencies by providing support specialist for operations, planning and resource coordination.   Volunteers also undertake operations centre duties in the field, working from a purpose built incident control vehicle.

Volunteers undertake a variety of roles including the monitoring of SES resources and personnel, managing requests and enquiries from the community, recording and updating operational management systems and tasking local units or agencies.
